I had all this information and but I was left trying to piece the puzzle together. It was as if I were watching Law & Order. Sue wove a suspensful tale that completely blew me away. The storyline followed discovering who was killing enhanced and how best Gael and Jake could function as partners in real life and colleagues on the job. He and Gael were opposites that attracted, supposed enemies as Jake was human and Gael enhanced. Jake thought”joining the unit was supposed to be a fresh start.” What he hadn’t anticipated was his need for his partner to overwhelm and completely unravel him.
